I am Sara, a 6th generation farmer. I grew up on a small farm in southern Minnesota. I fell in love with an Iowa 4th generation farmer and moved across the border. We have three children who love everything farm related- cattle and pigs, tractors, skidloaders and everything in between. We farm in Kossuth County, Iowa with my husband, Jared's, multigenerational farm family. We currently have 4 generations in our farming operation and feel very blessed to have so much experience and knowledge levels on the farm! We have a cow-calf herd and feedlot as well as grow corn and soybeans.
Agriculture is my passion. I often laugh and tell people "cows make me happy!" but it is the truth, these humble creatures bring so much joy to my heart. I am excited for you to follow around as we share our farm and life in rural Iowa.
